Would you like to join a private Tapas Tour Málaga with our guide Anne? Discover all about the culinary life of this vibrant city on the Mediterranean.
Anne takes you out for a four and a half hour tapas tour. This exclusive tour has been specially developed for lovers of Andalusian cuisine and the laid back life style of the inhabitants of the South of Spain.

The Andalusian cuisine

The hinterland of the province of Málaga is fertile. The best olives, avocados and almonds in Spain, come from this region. The Andalusian kitchen is originally poor but pure. The inhabitants of this part of Spain often still eat what comes from their own land.
Andalusia is very traditional. Slowly but surely some change is coming. Cautiously, ‘foreign’ food is being explored and more and more contemporary restaurants and bars are opening their doors in Málaga.
To our great fortune, hundreds of authentic eateries and typical Spanish tapas bars can still be found in the city and we hope that they will stay forever.

Culinary tour through Málaga

While walking through the old center of Málaga, Anne lets you get acquainted with the fresh products of the famous day-market Atarazanas, the famous Spanish Serrano hams and the cheeses of the region, and of course the famous Spanish tapas.
The drinks from this region are also being tried out. How about the famous Málaga wines that we can find in old wooden barrels in the oldest bodega of the city, the popular Spanish summer drink Tinto de Verano, and of course the local Victoria beer.
For four-and-a-half hours we wander, while eating and drinking through the center of Málaga, and along the way, between snacks and drinks, you will learn a lot about this hospitable city.

Including:

  • The famous Atarazanas fresh market
  • The oldest wine bodega in town
  • Anne’s favorite bars for a cheese and ham tasting
  • A tapas stop in one of Málaga’s most popular bistros

Flexible Itinerary

Although we have a couple of fixed places we will visit, sometimes it can be necessary to adjust the tour a bit. This could be because of the hours of the tour, holidays and festivities, the weather and the time of the year. It will however always be an unforgettable afternoon!

Distance and time

In total, the walking distance is about 4 kilometers over a period of 3,5 to 4 hours. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

Dresscode

With 320 sunny days per year, you may expect perfect weather conditions during the tour. There are however some periods (especially in October – November and in March – April) where it can be cooler and when a raincoat could be the right choice.

Lunch won’t be needed anymore

During the tour, you will visit a minimum of 5 different places where we will have something to eat, often accompanied by a drink. Because of this, you will most likely have had more than enough to eat to skip lunch, and maybe even dinner 😉

Allergies and food restrictions

Obviously you are open for a culinary adventure when you subscribe to a tour like this. So we assume that you would love to try several unknown dishes. Suffering from allergies, food intolerances or other dietary restrictions is a limiting factor that we should know about beforehand, in order to prepare for this tour. So please indicate these restrictions when making the booking. We will then try to find the best possible alternative choices.
