For small private/individual tours, we offer the convenience of paying your driver/guide in cash after the tour. No partial or full payment is required before the tour date.
We typically do not require a deposit to secure your booking, even if we need to purchase entry tickets ahead of time for excursions to popular attractions such as the Alhambra or the Caminito del Rey. However, for groups larger than 8 people, a deposit payment equal to the purchase price of these tickets is required.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause you to cancel your booking with us. While we regret this, we do not charge a cancellation fee except in the following circumstances:
- For Alhambra tours: The entry tickets are issued in your personal name and cannot be returned or reused. We will request that you reimburse us for the value of these tickets.
- For Caminito del Rey tours: The tickets are transferable and we will try to resell them or offer them to other guests. If we are unable to do so, we will ask you to reimburse us for the value of the tickets.
The payment and cancellation policies we adhere to for larger groups or corporate bookings are as follows:
Once the tour is approved, you will receive an invoice for the quoted cost. To confirm the booking, a 50% deposit must be paid. The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before the tour date.
If you cancel your tour reservation with Sunshine Tours more than 3 months in advance, you will receive a full refund of your deposit payment, except for any non-refundable expenses such as Alhambra entrance tickets.
If you cancel between 3 months and 1 month before the tour, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit payment, again excluding any non-refundable expenses.
Cancelling between 1 month and 2 weeks ahead of time will result in a 25% refund of the deposit payment, with the same exception for non-refundable expenses.
If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the tour date, your deposit payment will not be refunded.
